Parent Resources & Forms

The preschool program provides the following parent education opportunities:

Latino Family Literacy Program
This is a multi-week program designed for preschool parents that uses age-appropriate books for preschool aged children. Parents are encouraged to read with their children, learn how to pose questions and teach school readiness skills to their children. Together parents and children learn English vocabulary and simple English language grammar.  Parents end the series with a family album that reflects their learning and time together as a family.

Positive Solutions for Families
This six-session evidence-based series was developed by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) to promote positive and effective parenting behaviors, which will in turn promote children’s social and emotional development.

Screen Time
This workshop shares with the different types of "screen time" and recommended practices for monitoring the safe use of screen time for young children.
