MONROVIA - Canyon Early Learning Center (CELC) welcomed a team of dental students from Western University in Pomona for complimentary dental check-ups for our beloved Cubs.
The Western University students came into several classrooms and conducted dental check-ups for CELC students. Once the exams were done, the team took notes and let families know if further dental care was recommended.
This collaboration not only reinforces our dedication to Engaged Parents, Families, and Community, as outlined in our Strategic Plan, but also embodies a powerful commitment to our students' well-being.
Looking ahead, Western University will continue to provide complimentary dental check-ups to our students in TK, K, and 3rd grade throughout the upcoming weeks and months.
